Material Testing for M1S1. In these renderings I was trying to see how could I marry the main central core with the cell bodies. I thought about a wire meshed based material for the cells/viruses, since cells and virus are transparent when looked under a microscope. For the central core of the building being consumed by the cells/virus, I thought of a very rough material like Precast concrete almost as a statement by the building trying to fight and defend itself from the virus.

These Mini models are some concept idea of how I want the building look and also studying the play of the interlocking cells. I'm also looking at how they all over lap each ohter to create different shapes and voids.

This is a new Concept Board for a Middle School.
My concept board consist of inter-locking cellular activity. I thought of this idea as i saw my little brother go through middle school and saw how he went from a little chubby kid to tall skinny teenager. So I thought of how the cells in our body start to change us and help us grow.
The parti I would like to establish with this concept board is the overlapping, connection between cells and how they can communicate to each other.

These are a few rendering of the progression of the club. I wanted to get a feel of how the spaces looked and felt.

.Top plan is the 2nd Flr and the Bottom image is the 1st Flr.

I have revised the plans and made a few changes, i have switched the stage and the bar. I have located the stage in the 1st floor where people coming in, dancers and the people dining could all appreciate the band.

This is the 1st floor plan for my club named "Cascades", which will feature ballroom dancing.

Concept

The concept behind this collage is ballroom dancing, which is very fluent and has natural movement like water. In the collage I'am showing 3 couple dancing on water, showing how they are in perfect harmony with the bodies of water. Since we are located in a area where we are surrounded by water, I want to create the effect that you are dancing or walking on water.
